We have a new Rector!

John Mann with his wife Helen, son David and daughter Rowan

We are delighted to announce the appointment of  the Very Revd John Mann as Team Rector.  This is subject to the necessary DBS checks taking place.  The interview panel were unanimous in their view that John has all the necessary gifts and skills to fulfil this role and will bring to the Team great experience and fresh perspective.  John is currently Dean of Belfast, and having done a significant piece of work there, feels called, together with his wife Helen, to return to parochial ministry.  He was very much attracted by the post and looks forward to joining the team.

John and Helen will probably move here early in the summer.  The licencing date is yet to be agreed and will be announced in due course.  The Bishop and Archdeacon wish to thank everyone involved in the appointment. I am sure you would agree this is good news indeed and we look forward to John’s arrival!’
