Farm Church this weekend

Farm Church this weekend

This weekend it is our Weekend Away at Home.  See the flyers: Page 1   Page 2   Dan Slatter profile

There will not be a Breakfast@9 or 10.30 service at All Saints on Sunday, 30 June.  Instead people are invited to Breakfast at Rempstone Farm from 8.30 on Sunday morning followed by Farm Church from 11.00.  Also we’ll be having a lamb roast immediately afterwards.  Everyone is welcome to join us for all these.

The farm address  is Rempstone Farm, Corfe Castle, Dorset, BH20 5JH

How to get there - To find Rempstone Farm take the Studland Road from All Saints, fork left towards Corfe Castle, turn left at the T-junction at the top and then follow the road for about 1.6 miles.  You will see a green ‘Cedar Organic’ sign high up on the right so turn right at that point.  After a few hundred metres drive past the farmhouse on your left.  Then after about 100 metres take the next sharp right.  After a couple of hundred metres there are some farm buildings on the right - drive through the gate and you’re there!  There will be lots of signs to point you in the right direction.

Last minute info

Sunday Farm Church - even if you can’t be with us for the whole weekend you are very welcome to Farm Church which takes place on Sunday.  We are serving breakfast from 8.30, the service starts at 11.00 followed by the wonderful Rempstone Farm Cedar Organic lamb roast (plus delicious puds courtesy of Tim and Vanessa Mulholland).  Do come and bring friends and family - please bring a chair with you!

It’s going to be hot! - so please bring along a hat and sunscreen.

Drinks on Saturday evening - we’ll be offering a glass of wine, juice or beer with the meal on Saturday.  But we hope that people will stay around, enjoy some live music and each other’s company.  You might like to bring along something else to drink during the evening.

Offering on Sunday - our speaker Dan is not making any charge for being our speaker at the weekend.  Also our children’s work is being done by Rob and Bethany again at no charge.  But we would like to express our appreciation so we will be taking up a thank you collection on Sunday morning.  it would be great if we could come prepared for that.

Extras - everyone booked in for the whole weekend will receive a free copy of Pete Grieg’s new book, 'How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People’.  You’ll also get one of our brand new All Saints Eco-cups made of sustainable bamboo with a logo designed by Andy Mutter.  If you are coming on Sunday you’ll be able to pick up a copy of the book at a discounted price (£9.00 instead of the list price of £13.99).  And you will be able to buy an All Saints mug for the cost price of £5.00 (similar cups usually sell for at least a tenner).

This is going to be a great opportunity to bring the whole church family together so we do hope to see everyone sometime over the weekend.

See you there!
