ALL SAINTS’ FOCUS – JANUARY TO EASTER 2021
We move into a new year with three themes which will take us through to Easter. These themes will focus on our hopes, our generosity and who we are (our identity in Christ).
Firstly, what are our hopes for 2021? What are you hoping for? What is your desire? The All Saints’ verse for 2021 to go on our bookmarks is from Romans 15 v13:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Secondly, ‘What can I give him, poor as I am’? (10th January to 14th February)
In the final quarter of 2020, we looked at the book of Nehemiah and we turn our focus now onto a theme. ‘Giving’ is one of our five marks of membership at All Saints – sharing what God has given us and honouring Him in our finances. This series is not just about financial giving, though, and we will be thinking, too, about some of the other ways in which we might bring offerings to God.

Thirdly, for five weeks from 28th February, we will be asking ‘Who am I’? As we look forward to Holy Week and all that Jesus did for us, we will be thinking about our identity in Christ and the assurance that we are wholly His.
